Yesterday, my wife decided to try a recipe for quick bread called ‘Cinnamon Sugar Bread’ she found on ‘A Whisk and a Prayer blogspot dot ca’ and it was wonderful! We enjoyed it as a snack last night, for breakfast this morning, for a snack this afternoon, and will finish it with dinner tonight. 🙂
My wife substituted one cup of flour with whole wheat flour, used brown sugar instead of white sugar for the cinnamon swirl, and added a half cup of chopped walnuts and a teaspoon of vanilla to the basic recipe ~ and the next time she’s considering reducing the sugar a bit.
