After a pause in painting art, to paint our house and do some landscaping in the yard over the past few months, I’ve set up a new art studio in our home and started painting again!  I very much enjoy composing and painting images I love, and now that I have a new standing drafting table, I can immerse myself in my art once again! 🙂 My favorite compositions are based on city profiles, where there are distinctive buildings, landscape features and profiles that I can incorporate into my paintings.

I have two smaller 11″ x 14″ canvasses to use at the moment, and then I’ll return to my favorite 18″ x 36″ size to focus more on larger projects in the future.  My current work-in-progress is called ‘Salzburg, Österreich’ (11″ x 14″) – using the German spelling for Salzburg, Austria.  I’ll share updates of my painting progress with you from time-to-time, to show how this painting develops ~ enjoy! ☼ 🙂
