Our Adventures in Baking ~ Raspberry Almond Cream Cheese Danish

I have the fondest memories of enjoying authentic Danish pastries while visiting Denmark years ago, so my wife decided to try her hand at these classic treats!  She visited an online site called ‘Thirty Handmade Days’ and followed the ‘Raspberry Almond Cream Cheese Danish’ recipe Mique posted there ~ and they turned out beautifully! 🙂  My wife freezes the partially made Danishes after applying the cream cheese filling, and later thaws out two pastries for us to eat that day, adds the raspberry jam and bakes them off fresh.  The icing and toasted sliced almonds are then added once cooled ~ enjoy! ☼ 🙂
