This is the second of two contemporary acrylic paintings that I still have from the early days of my artwork, which I call ‘Barn in Winter’ (18″ x 24″) painted in December 1980.  This painting is based on a photo I took of a Michigan barn while on a bicycle trip from my parents’ home in Grand Blanc, MI, through Ontario, Canada, during Spring Break 1980 at Michigan State University.  I’m posting two views of my painting on different colored backgrounds, as well as the original photograph I took which inspired the painting:
